Gina Saka


With 14 years of experience with massage therapy and shiatsu, Gina brings another aspect to the yoga practice, an awareness of your meridians and energy channels and a profound understanding of injuries. You will often learn something about your body or about your channels when you take her class. Gina took her first yoga class 13 years ago in a gym and the spiritual awakening she had in savasana was magical and the beginning of her yoga path and a life long transformation which eventually let her to yogaview. Gina completed the yogaview Teacher Training - 2009 under the loving guidance of her teachers, Tom Quinn,Quinn Kearney, Claire Mark and Geri Bleier and she is also a graduate of the Temple of Kriya Yoga's Teacher Training - 2007 under the loving guidance of ordained Swami Mary Samano. Gina has also studied with Paul Weitz, Seane Corn, Natasha Rizopoulos, Ana Forrest, Kino MacGregor and Daylene Christensen. Her lifelong ever-evolving practice continues to grow and flourish under the guidance of her teachers, Claire Mark and Quinn Kearney. Gina also is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Advanced Thai Therapist & Certified Ohashi Shiatsu Therapist. Gina's classes are accessible to all practitioners and are lighthearted, fun and challenging. Classes are always sequenced in safe and smart way so that a student is properly warmed to go deeper if needed. Her adjustments have amazing and healing quality after 14 years of massage she can often sequence and adjust a student in a way that can profoundly shift their practice, prospective and clear out an energy channel.
